Latest Updates from Our Project:

So close! 94% Funded
over 7 years ago – Thu, Sep 29, 2016 at 12:06:40 PM

Synthicide is almost funded! So here's a piece of art! It's a portrait of a pirate from the faction Chaos Rose, and a scene of one of their shipyards on the planet Farazin. Yet another great piece by Joe Slucher.

Stretch Goals Re-alignment

You may have noticed some changes on the Kickstarter page. In order to make stretch goals more likely, all dollar tiers as well as add-on costs have been adjusted downward. Enjoy!

Less than a week left!

There's less than a week left before Synthicide funds. Can you believe it? It'd be great to hit some of our stretch goals, so continue to share the page with friends and family!

And now some great art from Ian Llanas

Ian has turned in his first illustration, and it came out fantastic! It's a picture of a sharper going through various gear, including a cybernetic hand. I can't wait to see what he draws next.

Synthicide was on another podcast

In case you missed it, I did an interview with Chris Sniezak over at Misdirected Mark. You can listen to it here:

On the podcast, I talk a little on what Synthicide is all about. I also explain my day job designing mass-market games for kids. Did you know I do that?

On the dev front…

Zackery Robinson is almost done editing the game draft. Joe Slucher and now Ian Llanas (http://www.ianllanas.com/) are cranking away on new artwork. I'll share what they cook up in the future!

More on generators…

The Synthicide book is full of tools to make GMing easier. One of my favorites is the mission generator. After a few simple rolls, you have a rough idea for a game session with your friends. But if you don't feel like cross-referencing the charts, an HTML version is available. Check out the video below for a demo on how to use it!

Trap Generator How To
over 7 years ago – Sun, Sep 25, 2016 at 11:28:52 AM

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. I spent mine planning the artwork needs for the core rule book and trying to determine final page counts. Next weekend I'll be working on new GM tools.

Speaking of GM tools…

Here's a quick update on the trap generator! Watch the video below to learn more about it.
